Thousands March From Selma to Montgomery, Reenacting 1965 “Bloody Sunday”

Tweets, Instagram posts, as well as news stories captured the reenactment of the thousands strong March from Selma to Montgomery over the weekend, which came to be known as “Bloody Sunday”.
Famous activists and journalists walked alongside supporters and spoke at events held for the Selma march. Many documented the significant event on social media and news sites.
Using Storify, I gathered a collection of posts and footage from the march that tell the history and relevance of the reenactment.
